Dr Vinay Shivamurthy is a paediatrician specialising in rheumatology. He worked as a consultant at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, Liverpool before taking up the substantive post as a consultant in paediatric rheumatology at Evelina London Childrens Hospital in 2016.Dr. Shivamurthy is experienced in managing a full range of paediatric rheumatology conditions including juvenile arthritis, hypermobility, SLE, vasculitis, periodic fever syndromes, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and chronic pain syndrome. He also has a special interest in inflammatory connective tissue diseases and other auto inflammatory conditions, as well as chronic and biomechanical pain.Dr. Shivamurthy received his medical training in India, Canada and the UK. He has an active interest in medical education and is enjoys teaching and training doctors at all grades and the multidisciplinary team.
