Vikki has a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice and is an Independent Prescriber. Vikki has successfully implemented a novel Pharmacist Prescribing Service that impacts patient flow, discharge planning and patient safety to great effect. Vikki has also been involved with the training of junior pharmacists and pharmacy undergraduates and has spent over 2 years as a Specialist Pharmacist in Aseptic services. Vikki has previously worked on the executive committees and subcommittees of the following associations: Aston Pharmacy Association (APA) British Pharmaceutical Students' Association (BPSA) European Pharmaceutical Students' Association (EPSA) Vikki has applied managerial skills within the community pharmacy sector, whilst supporting the future of pharmacy by participating in additional services such as the Medicines Use Review, the New Medicines Service and administering flu vaccinations, and keeps community pharmacy competencies up to date through ongoing locum work.
