Dr. Soundararajan was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She obtained her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. During her career as a student, Dr. Soundararajan served as Residential Advisor at Penn State, and as Administrative Chief Resident at Washington University School of Medicine during her residency. She also received the Annual Student Research Symposia Science Award, the Berlex Laboratories Resident Teaching Award, and was awarded the “Best Second Year Teaching Resident”. Dr. Soundararajan is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, of which she is a fellow member. She joined the premier team of professionals of Douglas Women’s Center, PC in 1999 and continues to serve as both an obstetrician and a gynecologist. Dr. Soundararajan is certified in da Vinci® Surgical System, also known as robotic surgery, and is pleased to provide her patients with the most advanced, minimally invasive options available when surgical intervention is needed. She looks after the community of Austell, GA.
