Veronica graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2007. Upon returning to Houston, she began work as a labor and delivery nurse at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas. Veronica spent over seven years at WHT caring for patients through antepartum, delivery and postpartum. This experience solidified Veronica’s passion for women’s health and inspired her to continue her education. Veronica obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and is licensed as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Veronica’s clinical interests include contraceptive counseling, educating adolescents/teenagers, and preventive health. Veronica is also a member of the Houston Area Nurse Practitioners Association. Veronica enjoys traveling with her husband, reading and spending time with family.
