Having dual GMC accreditation and specialisation, along with more than 14 years’ Consultant grade surgical experience in the broad anatomical fields of Vascular & General Surgery and in kidney / pancreas transplantation, he has particular interest in the management of the following: Vascular Surgery: Laser, foam sclerotherapy and open surgery treatment for varicose veins, sclerotherapy for thread veins and haemangiomas, carotid arterial (under Local Anaesthesia where possible), aneurysmal (open and minimally invasive (EVAR)) and peripheral arterial bypass surgery and balloon angioplasty, fistulas and grafts for haemodialysis. Kidney Transplantation: special interest and experience in Blood Group Incompatible transplants General Surgery: Laparoscopic (Key hole) inguinal & incisional hernia, Laparoscopic adrenalectomy (Conn’s, Cushing’s, Phaeochromocytoma), Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (gallstones), Laparoscopic splenectomy and open abdominal operations (laparotomy for acute abdomen)
