Vasantha Kumar, M.D., is a University of Florida professor of pediatrics and a board-certified neonatologist at UF Health in Jacksonville. He also serves as chief of the division of neonatology in the UF Department of Pediatrics - Jacksonville. Dr. Kumar received his medical degree from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka, India. He completed a pediatrics residency and neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut.
