I am a Consultant General Surgeon with a specialist interest in colorectal surgery practicing in London and Hertfordshire, England and take enormous pride in providing my patients with a personalised, safe, caring and informed service. I am currently an NHS consultant at Watford General Hospital, which is one of the top performing hospitals for bowel cancer treatment according to the annual National Bowel Cancer Audit. My patients often experience debilitating conditions such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease and hernia. But working together, my patients are involved in the decision-making process and we plan and prepare for the best treatment option for them. During my career, I have been involved in medical and clinical research, publishing in peer review journals and have presented at national and international conferences. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree and Diploma from Imperial College and obtained a Masters in Surgical Science, also from Imperial College. I am also involved in teaching and training the future generations of surgeons. I completed my medical training at St Georges Hospital Medical School, London and have completed two fellowships at St Mark’s Hospital and the Joint London Colorectal Clinical Fellow at St Thomas’ and University College London Hospitals.
