Mr Karuppiah has a keen interest in Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for foot and ankle pathologies. He has a well established practice and is the only surgeon to offer minimally invasive surgery for bunion surgery in the East Midlands region.Mr Vail Karuppiah is a Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon who graduated from JIPMER, Pondicherry, India. He started his surgical career in Aberdeen, Scotland and completed Membership exams for the Royal College of Surgeons. Subsequently, he was appointed as a clinical tutor at the University of Aberdeen and did research towards a higher degree.
