Dr. Uma Chintapalli graduated from Rangaraya Medical College in India in 1990. She completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey – a Mt. Sinai affilitated hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Chintapalli believes that medicine is an art. As such she believes in practicing medicine to provide a higher quality of care, not just to sustain a business. She believes that medicine should be available to all that need it, at affordable prices, with minimal waiting time and inconvenience to the patient. She believes in fairness, honesty, and integrity, in both her personal and professional life. She lives in Plano, with her husband, Chandra, also an ER physician, who is also a Board Certified Internist, and their three children. In her spare time, Dr. Chintapalli enjoys travelling, learning new cultures, reading, and is currently pursuing her executive MBA at UTD. She is an active member of Toastmasters International. Dr. Uma Chintapalli believes that medicine should be available to all that need it, at affordable prices, with minimal waiting time and inconvenience to the patient.
