About Trudi CarmichaelI am an adult psychodynamic psychotherapist with over 15 years of NHS clinical experience including 6 years working as an MBT therapist. I studied at the Tavistock and Portman, completing my qualification in forensic psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Portman Clinic. I currently work as an adult psychotherapist and MBT therapist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. I am experienced in working with people on a long term basis with a range of clinical problems including anxiety and depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, addictions, offending, compulsive sexual behaviour and psycho-somatic symptoms. I also run reflective practice groups and offer consultation to staff within the NHS who work with patients who have complex emotional needs.
