Mr Vinod Nargund is a highly respected consultant urological surgeon with many years of experience in his field. He practises at the Princess Grace Hospital, and he is also a Clinical Lecturer in Surgery and Renal Transplant and an Honorary Senior Registrar in Urology at the Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust and the University of Oxford.He has expertise in the following areas:Urological OncologyMale infertilityErectile dysfunctionKidney cancerProstate cancerBladder cancerProstate disease, including prostatitisDiseases of the testis and testicular cancerAndrologyMr Nargund trained in urology units at a number of prestigious hospitals, including Belfast City Hospital, and Churchill and John Radcliffe Hospitals in Oxford. Additionally, he has had laparoscopic surgery training at Erasme University Hospital in Brussels and the Oscar Lambret Cancer Centre in France.He holds a PhD in bladder cancer and has published more than 90 papers in both national and international journals. Additionally, he is the principal editor of the Urological Oncology texbook. His research interests include the early diagnosis of genitourinary cancer, angiogenesis, and minimally invasive management of urological cancers.Mr Nargund has been extensively involved in medical teaching at various universities, including Queen Marys, Barts, and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London. He has also been an undergraduate and postgraduate examiner for the University of London and served as a member of the court of examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
