Dr. Lambrou chose gastroenterology as a specialty due to its variety, depth and procedural aspects. Additionally, she enjoys the ability to treat patients both in the hospital and outpatient setting, developing longstanding relationships. She was also certainly influenced by her father, who was a gastroenterologist.
