After finishing my Counselling Degree at the University of Derby in 2021, I found a real passion for supporting people with both employment and wellbeing challenges. I had the amazing opportunity to apply this passion as an Employment Support Officer on the GREAT Project, where I got to work in an incredible team which taught me so much about the challenges unemployed people face in our community. Sadly, the charity came to an end, so I found a new challenge (After 3 months travelling around Australia!) working for Optima UK, managing a Digital 50+ Contract. Here, I have had the opportunity to develop my independence, and really learn how to manage both participant and stakeholder expectations. This has been a brilliant experience so far, that I am thoroughly enjoying. I am a (relatively) young professional with a strong base knowledge and experience of providing both wellbeing and employment support. I really believe I can be an excellent asset to an organisation who shares my passion for supporting those going through challenging times within our community.
