Dr. Kinney is originally from Johnsburg, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University and then went on to the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, where he earned his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine. Prior to attending medical school, Dr Kinney was a four-year Division 1 starter and All-American football player. For a time, he became an NFL Free Agent, earning workouts with the Chicago Bears, Houston Texans, and NY Jets. Dr Kinney found his passion in chiropractic medicine because it affords a patient-centered approach to health care. He utilizes manipulation, spinal decompression, neurology, physiotherapy, and functional rehabilitation techniques to treat the root cause of pain and dysfunction. Due to his experience as an NFL player, he has a particular passion for working with athletes of all types- from weekend warriors to professionals. Outside of the office, Dr Kinney enjoys playing golf and giving sports performance lessons to high school and college athletes who share similar goals he once achieved.
