A resilient and highly motivated Biomedical science student who has a strong work ethic, keen to further develop my skills through commitment and an enthusiasm to extend my learning. I have a keen interest in going into an area of industrial laboratory work at places such as GSK and MAC which are in Liverpool or in the local area. In these laboratories, I would like to focus on work in genetic research, cancer research or immunology via vaccination. Furthermore, in these laboratories i would like to discover new ground breaking technology which can help against new emerging diseases. I think I will be able to use relevant knowledge I have required at university such as infection and immunity, Genetics, Diagnosis of medicine and impact of microbes in order to help my research in the specific fields. I believe my work in the Pharmaceutical industry has allowed me to work in an environment which I am at the front line working with patients to dispense the drugs that they need and given me a greater understanding on pharmaceutical drugs.
