My name is Thiago Carneiro, MD, MPH, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. I am board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.I received my medical degree from the prestigious Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and completed my neurology residency at Boston Medical Center, Boston University. I then went on to complete my neurocritical care fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center - Harvard Medical School.During my training, I received multiple awards and contributed to numerous research publications. My current research focuses on the role of neuromodulation in acute brain injury. Additionally, I completed a Master of Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I am currently a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Neurocritical Care Society.In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and listening to all genres of music.
