NOTE: We suggest that all patient be vaccinated for COVID-19. COVID-19 counseling is available. Dr. Terry Wayne Fonville is an experienced and knowledgeable primary care doctor. He has maintained an office practice in the West Village in New York City for the past 40 years. The Practice accepts many insurance plans including OSCAR. Dr. Fonville earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL. He pursued an internship at St. Michael's Hospital after which he completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan and at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx. He is currently affiliated with the Mt Sinai Medical Center of New York. Patients visit Dr. Fonville for a host of reasons: from anxiety, insomnia, skin rashes, high cholesterol, abdominal pain, joint pain, diabetes, and hypertension to STD’s and HIV--PREP and DOXY-PEP. He believes that sound medical judgment, evidence-based medicine, and clear communication are the best combination of attributes that can lead to the best outcomes for patients. In his spare time, he studies piano and has composed exactly one short piano piece. He is a tennis enthusiast and a cinephile.
