Dr. Shaikh works as a specialist in endocrinology, diabetes mellitus and metabolic diseases. He gained his basic medical degree from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, and post-raduate qualification from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan. Before moving to Abu Dhabi he worked in large teaching hospitals and tertiary care facilities. Dr. Shaikh has gained a wide range of experience in tertiary care hospitals in his field, and he particularly enjoys seeing patients with thyroid diseases and Diabetes mellitus. Dr Shaikh worked in Zayed Military Hospital Abu Dhabi prior to joining Mediclinic.
