Dr. Nishihori is a senior member in the Blood & Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy (BMT CI) Department at Moffitt Cancer Center and is a professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida. Dr. Nishihori's clinical interests include autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) as well as cellular immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of various hematologic malignancies including but not limited to multiple myeloma, plasma cell dyscrasias, amyloidosis, malignant lymphomas, acute and chronic leukemias, myelodysplastic syndrome, myelofibrosis and myeloproliferative disorders. He also performs autologous HCT for testicular cancer/germ cell tumor. He serves as the chair of BMT CI Clinical Standards Committee at Moffitt and oversees the development and maintenance of departmental SOPs to improve patient care.
