Dr. Addy joined Metro Medical Associates in May 2021.Originally a native of Hyderabad, Dr.Addy now considers Atlanta GA her hometown. Dr. Addy graduated from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupathi India. She completed her family medicine residency at the prestigious University of Alabama at Birmingham ( UAB) and is board certified in Family Medicine. After her residency, Dr. Addy started her career as primary care physician at Sugar Hill GA. During her work, she developed a special interest in obesity. Obesity is one of the leading root cause of chronic medical problems including Hypertension, Diabetes and Heart disease. She pursued a fellowship and is currently certified by American Board of Obesity Medicine.Dr. Addy provides specialized medical treatment for weight loss. As a Family Physician she is able to provide care to every member of the family including children and women health care including PAP smears and DOT certifications. She is also certified in Nexplanon implantation for birth control. During her free time she enjoys travelling, shopping and spending time with her family. Dr Addy speaks three languages including English, Telugu and Hindi. Dr.Addy welcomes the opportunity to take care of you and your family.
