Dr Suresh M. Advani was born May 19th 1956 in Nagpur, India. Dr. Advani was a stand out as a student, earning him the status of National Merit Scholar as well as a higher education scholarship winner before attending B. J. Medical College in Gujarat, India. Upon his graduation in 1980, he completed his internship and residency, and even served as a Medical Officer for the Indian government. Upon his arrival to the United States in 1985, he served many roles from California to Washington D.C. before coming to Bakersfield in October of 1989. In Kern county, he would take physician roles at the Alliance Community Hospital and the Bakersfield Family Medical Center. In 1997, Dr. Advani would serve in the United States Air Force, completing various trainings from the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine before serving as a Flight Surgeon and Flight Commander. After serving, he would go on to receive a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Washington, Seattle. In 2000, Dr. Advani opened Pearls of Hope Medical Clinic to serve the people of Kern County and provide comprehensive, quality healthcare on a cash basis. A well rounded physician with experience in various roles, Dr. Advani has even been published in the American Journal of Surgery.
