Sune du Toit & Associates provides Veterinary Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for the equine athlete. The practice also provide physiotherapy services to riders (rider analysis, musculoskeletal treatment, Pilates). Suné du Toit & Associates are a well-established physiotherapy practice since 2003, based near Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The principle Physiotherapist, Suné du Toit has over 20 years of experience. She is a clinical educator for the MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy courses at Hartpury University and University of Liverpool. The practice provides a multidisciplinary approach to help maximise the potential and performance of both the rider and the equine athlete. The practice provides 70% equine and 30% rider and non-rider physiotherapy services. Regular horse and rider clinics are held at a local equestrian centre. We provide rider analysis with and without personal physio, equine physiotherapy session and rehab/pole session at these clinics. We are also working alongside a local yard assisting in rehabilitation and water treadmill sessions. We have two local clinics where we provide personal physio sessions. Currently the practice consists of one full time physiotherapist, one part time physiotherapist, one equine sports therapist and part time office support.
