My worldview consists of a responsibility on this earth to be kind, giving, respectful, and loving to all humanity and do good for the whole. I believe, when I heal one client, I have impacted everyone around them and that is what motivates me to continue working as a licensed mental health professional. My clients express their gratitude for my support, empathy, understanding, and unconditional regard; they feel safe to speak their minds without being judged. I start with a biopsychosocial assessment to get an overall picture of my client’s mental processing, social experiences, and physical health. This helps me understand where my client is and helps to meet my client where they are in their lives. I also conduct a self-esteem assessment because I believe that is the root of most mental health issues. Next, I work with my client to understand the presenting problem and what they would like to achieve in therapy. Once the goals are collaboratively agreed upon, the therapeutic process begins.
