I am a graduate of the university of Sydney in Medicine, Arts and Public Health. I did most of my psychiatry training in Australia and a couple of years in the UK. I’ve been a psychiatrist since 2001. I was an Army Reserve Medical Officer and deployed to the Solomon Islands for 3 months in 2004 and to Iraq in 2005 for 3 months doing general duties medical work mainly resuscitation and aeromedical evacuation work. I had a few other smaller deployments. I worked at BAnkstown Mental Health from 2002 to 2010. I was a general adult psychiatrist and had special responsibility for Early Psychosis and ECT I have been in private practice since 2010. I did psychedelic assisted psychotherapy training in 2011 with MAPS at Beer Yakov Hospital in Tel Aviv and in Jordan. I was in the first cohort to do the Certificate in psychedelic Assisted Therapy in 2020. Ism Tms trained and a firm believer in new low side effect treatments and neurostimulation. My patients ( they say they prefer this term) are mainly veterans and first responders but I’m happy to see anyone. I enjoy collaborating with other health professionals to increase treatment opportunities and modalities for clients. My partner is a clinical psychologist and we have 4 children, 4 dogs and 20 chickens. We obviously embrace chaos.
