Dr. Steve Siovas is a highly skilled Prosthodontist practising at Vermilions clinics in Edinburgh and Kelso. Dr. Siovas began his career as a Dentist in the Hellenic Army, where he gained valuable experience. Following his military service, he established his private dental practice in Thessaloniki, Greece. Later, he became a Junior Partner in a multi-disciplinary private dental clinic, focusing primarily on prosthodontics.In 2003, Dr. Siovas was appointed as a Clinical Trainer in the Department of Prosthodontics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During this period, he dedicated himself to teaching young undergraduate students the laboratory and clinical procedures in prosthodontics. In 2012, Dr. Siovas relocated to the Highlands of Scotland, where he quickly established himself as a highly capable Prosthodontist known for his expertise in implant-retained solutions. He joined Vermilion in February 2015 and has since divided his time between the clinics two locations in Edinburgh and Kelso.Dr. Siovas earned his Diploma in Dental Surgery from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1996. He subsequently pursued a three-year postgraduate program in Prosthodontics at the same university, which he successfully completed in 2001. His interest in implants led him to obtain a diploma in Implantology from the German Association of Implantology in 2009. Dr. Siovas furthered his academic pursuits by completing a PhD in Prosthodontics in 2011.
