Steve Siegal, MD, is a general surgeon with extensive experience in minimally invasive (laparoscopic, robotic, endoscopic) abdominal surgery including foregut, hernia, bariatrics, and gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Siegal completed his general surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University before undertaking his fellowship at Penn State Medical Center. Dr. Siegal is trained in the innovative da Vinci Surgical System (a robotic assisted system) and is an advanced surgical endoscopist. He is a reviewer of the medical journal Surgical Endoscopy, regularly publishes his work in peer-reviewed journals and is a founding member of the American Foregut Society.
