Multicultural counseling psychologist with a keen interest in expressive therapies, trauma-informed therapy and the de-stigmatization of mental health care. I have worked with a variety of clients and have led workshops in DBT skills and trauma-sensitive yoga. With a Master of Arts in Psychology, Emphasis on counseling, my thesis project focused on creating and implementing a trauma-sensitive yoga intervention for women survivors of sexual exploitation and abuse through human trafficking. Additionally, I have a BA in Media Communications and have worked in the field of marketing, media design and education. Currently working as the marketing & communications manager at TheBridge2Hope, to bring awareness to the issue of human trafficking and the work it does with survivors.
