Dr Lazarova has 18 years of experience in practising Psychiatry in the UK. After graduating in Bulgaria, Dr Lazarova completed her basic and specialist training in Psychiatry in the UK. She has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2009. During her specialist training Dr Lazarova developed special interest in the field of Eating Disorders and has worked as a clinical lead in one of the oldest and the bigger Eating Disorders NHS in the UK, (St. Georges EDS). She has clinical experience in the treatment of all types of Eating Disorders in variety of settings- out-patients, day patients and in-patients. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Lazarova has contributed to a number of multi-centred national research projects in the field of Eating Disorders and has a very good knowledge of the most recent evidence based treatment.
