Dr. Srilekha worked for four years in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai - a specialist cancer treatment and research centre. It is recognised as one of the leading cancer centres in South Asia. It is the national comprehensive cancer centre for the prevention, treatment, education and research in cancer. She also received her DM critical care medicine degree from the same institute. She also worked as locum specialist in critical care medicine at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital for eight months where she treated Covid and non Covid patients.
