Mr Spyros Bakalis is a consultant in obstetrics and sub-specialist in maternal and fetal medicine at Guys and St Thomas with over 15 years of experience delivering maternity services. He graduated from Guys, Kings and St Thomas medical school and has gone on to work in some of the largest maternity departments in the UK.Spyros carried out his research at Kings College London, where he was trained in fetal medicine scanning and published extensively in reputed international journals. He completed his subspecialty training at in maternal and fetal medicine at University College London Hospitals. He now serves as college tutor and manages the maternal cardiac clinic along with high risk fetal medicine cases.He works hard to support womens choices in pregnancy and childbirth and provides a bespoke birth and pregnancy care package.
