Dr. Sooji Kim graduated from SUNY Stonybrook with a Bachelor degree in Economics. Dr. Kim earned her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Kim completed her Podiatric Surgical residency at Bellevue Hospital which is Trauma level 1 center, South Manhattan Network; included Jacobi Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, Woodhull Medical Center and Gouverneur Health Medical Center where she served as Chief resident in final year of residency. Dr. Sooji Kim is currently actively training residents in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at NYC-HHC Bellevue Hospital Center and St. Barnabas Bronx Hospital. Dr. Kim also teaches residents at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine.Dr. Kim is highly familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of multiple disease states and health concerns. Driven to communicate well and establish strong rapport with all patients. Practice includes treatment of both adult and pediatric foot deformities includes sports injuries, congenital and acquired deformities, functional and cosmetic surgeries but not limited to emergent/traumatic limb salvaging and reconstructive foot surgeries. Dr. Kim is Board Certified in American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Board Certified in American Board of Foot Surgery. She is also certified in The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society; Restorix Health National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. Dr. Kim is also member of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, American Podiatric Medical Association, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine.
