I have been working in primary care for over ten years now and have experience of many different aspects of this from writing PGDs to developing pharmacy services. I have good clinical knowledge skills and have completed a diploma in prescribing studies and the independent prescribing qualification. My primary care role centers around medicines information, medication reviews including SMRs and policy development. I also work for the NHS 111 service as a prescribing pharmacist where I triage patients with common ailments and I also work as a practice pharmacist for a local surgery. I have several years of experience of working as a care home pharmacist and in particular reviewing patients with complex neurological disorders. I have also had the unique opportunity to help write the British Care Standards for Dermatology. Recently I have undertaken the PRINCE 2 Foundation course in managing successful projects.
