My name is Socorro A. Ancheta-Goodacre and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 30 years of experience based in the Fresno area. I work with adolescents, adults and married couples and families. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focus Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to provide people with the skills and knowledge to heal and cope with depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma and life's transition.I have been fortunate to work in various settings that has helped me develop a style and approach that work well with adolescents and adults struggling with social/peer pressures and life's transitions and challenges. These challenges can lead to symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, mood instability, anger, grief, poor communication, etc.My communication style is genuine, peaceful, and friendly. My hope is to provide a calming and safe environment for the client to share their story and experience without judgement.
