Worked in tutoring and schools before University. Busy schedule during University as course rep, club president, multiple part time jobs and placements in pharmacy and beyond. Survived pre-registration year and the GPhC exam while pregnant. Largely elderly based rotations when I worked in secondary care - a little too obsessed with auditing for my pay grade. Passionate about improving transfer of care, while reducing polypharmacy and medicines wastage. Now able to focus in on these in my intermediate role of virtual ward with the aid of home visits, plus ample opportunity to utilise my passion for service development given its niche processes. Irregular locum pharmacist to keep my hand in and stay aware of the ever-changing community sector. Specialist clinical interests: cardiology, antimicrobials, pharmacogenomics.
