I trained in medicine at Kings in London and then in General Surgery in Reading before starting my Urology training. I trained in Urology in Reading, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Cardiff, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield. I was Spinal Injuries Urology Fellow in Sheffield before being appointed Consultant Urologist in Middlesbrough in 2001. I have a particular responsibility for the Urological care of patients in the Golden Jubilee Spinal Injuries Unit at James Cook University Hospital and also do female and reconstructive Urology, general Urology and major pelvic surgery for bladder, colorectal and gynaecological cancer. I visit Darlington Memorial Hospital for clinics and operating sessions and run a busy private practice at BMI Woodlands Hospital, darlington.
