Simeen Jhaver, O.D., specializes in primary care, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, injuries and infections, as well as, the diagnosis and care of patients with Diabetes, Hypertension, Macular Degeneration, Ocular Surface Disease (Dry Eye), Glaucoma, corneal and retinal pathologies. Dr. Jhaver also focuses on specialty scleral lens fitting for abnormal corneas such as Keratoconus and post-surgical corneas. Dr. Jhaver earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology from the University of Houston. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, Magna Cum Laude. She is a Texas Board Certified Glaucoma Specialist as well as Texas Board Certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and has served as an examiner for National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Jhaver is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, the Harris County Optometric Society, and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society. She has resided in Houston for more than 30 years, enjoys travel and has a passion for community service.
