Dr. Abdelshafy is a consultant breast radiologist with 14 years' experience in this field. She completed her Bachelor degree of Medicine & Surgery from Benha University, Egypt, as well as her Masters degree in Diagnostic and Intervention Radiology and Medical Doctorate degree in Diagnostic and Intervention She has undertaken many trainings and workshops in the field of breast imaging and breast interventions and has previously worked in Egypt and Oman. She is one of the founders and board members of EGSBI (Egyptian Society of Breast Imaging). She has solid experience in breast imaging (mammography, US and MRI) and breast interventions with interest in teaching, moderating lectures and workshops. She also has experience in public education especially in the field of breast cancer awareness campaigns.
