I have over 19 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families with anxiety, communication, depression, self-esteem, and other life transitions. My approach is to help clients identify their strengths, and personal resources to develop better decision-making and coping skills. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative effort between the therapist and the client. My role is to give clients the tools and support needed to create positive effective change. What is your approach to therapy? My approach to therapy is to meet clients where they are and to empower clients to develop healthy changes and coping skills using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? Clients can expect to be empowered and have some insight into their current issues while working with me. Together we will explore the presenting problem and then develop goals and coping skills for dealing with the presenting problem.
