Dr. Shivanand Shetty completed his under graduate training from University of Mysore, and Postgraduate Orthopaedic Residency from Mangalore University. Dr. Shivanand heads the Orthopedic Department in NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi with more than 30 years of experience. He also worked as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics in India for 3 years where he has trained and taught a number of postgraduate students He has presented numerous papers in orthopaedic conferences and regularly keeps himself updated with latest orthopaedic techniques by attending workshops and conferences both local and international. Dr. Shivanand Shetty special interest lies in Gen. Orthopaedics, Trauma, Knee joint-replacement surgery. He also has done advanced AO course in fracture management.
