Shibani feels excited and privileged to care for patients of all ages with various dermatologic conditions. She is meticulous with full-body skin exams to screen for skin cancers and other lesions. She performs biopsies, cryosurgery, excisions, intralesional injections, and more with skill and efficiency. Additionally, she is passionate about patient education, empowerment and tailoring custom skin care regimens for her patients. Shibani grew up in Yorba Linda, California, but her journey has taken her across the U.S. Starting as a licensed vocational nurse at the Salinas Valley Correctional Facility, a level 4 maximum security prison, she then moved to Brooklyn, New York to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. After graduation, she worked at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in the neurology stepdown/stroke unit before relocating back to sunny California with her Husband While studying at USC to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse at various intensive care units throughout southern California as a travel nurse, during the pandemic. Outside of work, Shibani enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include traveling to new countries, trying new foods, watching Bollywood films, and doing HIIT exercises.
