I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 15 years experience of working with older people within a mental health setting (predominately community based as part of a community mental health team). I have worked independently and as part of a multi disciplinary team. I am an experienced practice placement educator and was awarded the Practice placement Educator of the Year Award for the East Midlands in 2014 from the University of Northampton. I am a supervisor and clinician who has had involvement with service development locally and nationally as part of the College of Occupational Therapists specialist section, older people. This includes the publication of national guidelines within the area of falls management (profession specific). I am a highly motivated, driven clinician who has a focus on providing a high standard of Occupational Therapy based on a current evidence of effective practice on both a local and national level.
