Dr. Shaazneen Ali is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist, specialising in general adult psychiatry and substance misuse psychiatry. She has over 12 years of experience practising psychiatry, including her core training in the St. Marys scheme in London and higher specialist training at Charing Cross Hospital. Dr. Ali completed her foundation training in the Oxford Deanery and holds a First-Class Honours degree for her medical degree from Manipal University, India, and Malaysia. In addition, she has a Masters degree in global mental health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine/Kings College, London.She has worked in the NHS for 15 years, holding a substantive consultant post in the Early Intervention Service for First Episodes of Psychosis in London. She has extensive experience in various fields of adult psychiatry, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance misuse disorders, and clients with multiple mental health issues. Her training and experience enable her to work collaboratively and compassionately with clients, always keeping their safety at the forefront of her mind while recommending holistic models that will work best on an individual level.She currently practises privately at Fenchurch Street and holds clinic appointments throughout the week with admission rights at our Roehampton hospital, reachable via her secretary Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
