She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC and SUNY College of Optometry in New York City, where she also completed a residency in Ocular Disease. Her previous clinical experience had her establish a dry eye clinic and manage this symptomatic and chronic condition for thousands of patients. In addition, Dr. Burmy has served as a sub-investigator on multiple clinical trials in keratoconus including FDA studies on corneal collagen cross-linking. She is proficient in custom specialty lenses, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, as well as emergency and routine eye care.
