Dr. Shanika Attale was born in Sri Lanka and undertook her medical training in India and the West Indies, earning her medical degree in 2003. She started her career specialising in paediatrics in Australia, where she met her partner, Dr. Oliver Large. They both subsequently moved to England to work as GPs. In addition to her NHS GP work, she also works as a GP at 222 Healthcare, providing private GP services in High Wycombe. Dr. Attale has now worked as a GP for 10 years in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Her particular interests include paediatrics, womens health, occupational health, and lifestyle medicine.In her free time, she enjoys all things baking!
