An education economist with PhD in education and economics. Strong commitment and demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to address challenges in the education sector in South Asia. Since Jan 2023, have been working with Asian Development Bank – multilateral development bank. Prior to ADB, worked in education sector development projects in Bangladesh, and also worked in academia in Bangladesh, and Australia. Experience in diverse countries and organizational contexts, which included extensive project implementation expertise, as well as high-level policy engagement with governments and development partners. Country experience includes Australia, Bangladesh, China, and UK. Specialties include - program implementation, project/program design, policy dialogue and strategic planning or technical advice on education, quantitative and quality research and publication.
