Dr. Shari Tahririan grew up in Portland, Oregon. Her passion for painting, sculpture, and attention to detail inspired her to become a dentist. "It was always my dream to utilize my clinical and artistic skills to create, and now that I am a dentist my goal is to make everlasting beautiful smiles" Dr. Shari has earned her dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University in 2007. She continued to live and work in Portland for three years after dental school. Her desire to be close to the ocean and sense of adventure led her to the beautiful city of San Diego. Dr. Shari worked for multiple dental offices in San Diego for the past six years before opening New Smile Dentistry. She continues to take classes and keep herself up to date with newest techniques and technologies in her field, is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and is certified in Invisalign. "The dental profession appeals to me because I am passionate about art and helping others. I believe that quality dental care is a combination of all these things: attention to detail, striving for perfection, compassion, and listening to my patients so they can achieve and maintain their overall dental health."
