Dr Shafeek worked as a firefighter/paramedic in the US before starting medical school in Lebanon at the American University of Beirut. He then worked in Disaster Management for two years before doing his residency in Emergency Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. After graduating, he moved to Dubai and started working as an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in 2019.
