My knowledge and experience in the pharmacy and pharmaceutics industry encompasses a total of over 24 years with over ten years of experience as a community pharmacist. I started as little as delivering medicines to patients, and went as high as pharmacy and store management in my career path. I have a vast experience in all the fields of the pharmacy industry. These range from laboratory work in the analyses of chemicals, botanics, drugs, and proprietary medicinal products, to the special storage of flammable liquids, medicinal products, anaesthetics and controlled drugs. Moreover, I have valuable experience in the extemporaneous preparation of prescription-only medicines, batch production of prescription-only and pharmacy-only medicines as well as accurate documentation of such duties. Currently, I deliver a variety of advanced and private services in community pharmacy. These include the provision of vaccines by injection, such as travel vaccines including yellow fever, NHS-111 referrals, UTI treatment and many more. I work in a very busy flagship store of Boots with a care home services unit. During my work, I am responsible and accountable for both the walk-in pharmacy and also the CHS. Enabling the safe running of the walk-in pharmacy and the CHS unit, taught me to be highly organised and self-motivated. Therefore, I have the ability to multitask under pressure without losing focus and with minimal supervision using my own initiative. Yet, I am also an exceptionally good team player and leader. I deliver services and patient care to high standards. I have excellent one-to-one patient communication skills. I am well known for my reliability with an impeccable attention to detail, accuracy, order and punctuality. Patient safety, confidentiality, and exemplary clinical governance are at the heart of my responsibilities as a pharmacist. Documentation and correct retention of information of my services are very paramount to my practice, where my philosophy is: "If it's not written down, it never happened.” I continually keep abreast of clinical pharmacology, drug discoveries, and drug safety issues and generally of my clinical pharmacy knowledge in the ever evolving scientific world. I have excellent IT skills and also have the ability to understand a business well to drive sales, patient and customer satisfaction and build patients' trust in my personal and my team's competence. I also have the advantage of speaking three different languages fluently, which are: German, Turkish, and English.
