I am Selina Cheshire, I'm resilient, full of courage and determination, an overcomer, and a fighter, who knew her purpose as a young girl when her cousin was given up in marriage at the tender age of 12 to a 60-year-old man. The abuse stayed with her and inspired her to provide, hope and encourage those who are going through tough challenges in their lives, to not give up. I was born and raised in a rural village in Chivi, Zimbabwe. I got married at 21 and thought I was going to support my siblings after the untimely death of my mother. My 1st marriage did not work, and without any professional qualifications besides my sewing skills, I had to be strong and change my thinking. I started a sewing business and learned to support myself and those I loved. What began as a small thing turned out to be huge. People would come and I was enjoying but then people stopped paying for my services, and I had to change. Why talk about all this, it is okay to change one's mind as long as you recognize that. Now my mission is to provide people with the strategies I have learned by overcoming my darkest moments in life. Sharing these strategies has made it easier for so many. Just knowing someone else has been through what they were struggling with, lightened their burden. My strategies are here to help you, too. I am eternally grateful that God is opening doors for new opportunities to help others using my talents and experiences, in ways I have never dreamed or imagined.
