I am a professional pharmacist with 17 years’ experience across both community and hospital pharmacy. I currently work for Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust as Lead pharmacist for the Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy as well as covering other areas in Neurology. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to practice pharmacy in a variety of locations, which has given me a varied pharmacy experience. My most recent achievements include working with Bucks CCG Medicines Optimisation team to produce a pathway for the safe prescribing of valproate in women of childbearing potential across Buckinghamshire. In addition, my time as a medicines information pharmacist, has provided me with transferable skills, to be able to prioritise, evaluate and manage problems or work load, safely and effectively.
